Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie Might Be Announced This Year After All..


Google didn’t unveil yet any details about the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie (even though the rumor mill speculates that the next Android version will be Jelly Bean 4.3), but sources say that we might actually get the new Android iteration later this year.




During the Google I/O even that took place earlier this month, all the new apps introduced by Google were actually, improvements brought to the current list of applications. Still, the company has presented some videos that gave the app developers that attended the event reasons to believe that Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie will be the next version that will see the light of day.
Therefore during the Reto Meier presentation, Android Development Relations Tech Lead, an animation was put on the screens where a girl was eating an ice cream, while Bugdroid (the Android mascot) was eating a Key Lime Pie.

Sony Xperia S finally receiving Jelly Bean update...

It took long enough, but it seems like the Sony Xperia S is finally going to be able to enjoy Jelly Bean. Numerous deadlines have come and gone without a Jelly Bean release, but Sony France has now confirmed on Twitter that the 4.1.2 update is being slowly rolled-out to users. Sony says that “many more builds will arrive next week,” so don’t worry too much if you haven’t already received the update. When it’s time, 4.1.2 will be available via both the Sony PC companion and over-the-air.
